CA’ PAVAGLIONE: an ancient place, where you can feel at home
Ca’ Pavaglione is located in San Bovo di Castino, a small village in Langa, made famous by Beppe Fenoglio, who set there the novel La malora.
A village to which my family and I are deeply attached.
Let me introduce myself, I’m Matteo and my roots lie right here, in San Bovo.
I spent my summers here as a child, with my grandparents and their stories of the past.
They described San Bovo as a village bustling with life, conviviality and celebration.
With Ca’ Pavaglione, I wanted to recreate the family atmosphere of their stories: a warm and welcoming refuge, where friendship is at home and hospitality is a precious value.
Ca’ Pavaglione is the realization of my dream, which I want to share with you.

Ca’ Pavaglione unfolds among the farmhouses of the small hamlet of San Bovo di Castino, not far from Alba, in the heart of Alta Langa.
Two independent structures surrounded by greenery and equipped with every comfort, for a total of 5 rooms, with lovely and welcoming common areas.
Everything in Ca’ Pavaglione reflects the centuries-old history of the hamlet: the ancient Langa stone walls, the vaulted ceilings and the ancient well for collecting water have been enhanced through a skilful renovation work, aimed at preserving the spirit and soul of this place.

Goats, chickens, donkeys and, above all, horses, thanks to the presence, not far from the structure, of the Centro Ippico San Bovo, an equestrian centre which organized wonderful horseback rides, also for beginners.
